Managing guests

You can manage all guests—whether they belong to a client or not—from one place.

Where to manage guests

Go to Workspace settings and open People → Guests.

From here, you can see all invited guests in your workspace.

Group guests by client

• Click Group by in the top-right corner.
• Select Company.

Guests will now be grouped by client, making them easier to manage in Upbase.

Remove guests from the workspace

• You can remove a guest directly from this page.
• When a guest is removed, they are also removed from all projects they had access to.

Link guests to clients

You can manage a guest’s client connection at any time.

1. Open the guest’s Edit modal.

   

   Choose to:

   • Link the guest to a client
   • Move the guest to a different client
   • Remove the guest from a client

This helps keep your client list organized and up to date.

Important notes about members and guests

• You can’t invite an existing team member as a guest in the same workspace.
• You also can’t invite a guest to become a team member, even if that account was removed before.
• At the moment, it’s not possible to convert a member into a guest, or a guest into a member.
