Bulk edit tasks
Bulk editing lets you select multiple tasks and update them all at once. Useful when you need to reassign a batch of tasks, change due dates, move tasks to a new column, or delete a group.
This works on Project Board view, List view, planner views (Daily Planner, Weekly Planner), My Tasks, Spotlight, Filter pages, and Tag pages.
Enter bulk editing mode
There are three ways to start:
- Shift + click a task. Hold Shift on your keyboard and click any task.
- More menu. Click the More (
...) button on a task, then click Select multiple. - Right-click menu. Right-click any task, then click Select multiple.

Select more tasks
Once bulk editing mode is on:
- Click another task to add it to the selection, one at a time.
- Shift + click a task to select a range. Every task between your last selected task and the one you click will be selected.

Edit the selected tasks
When bulk editing is on, a black action bar appears at the bottom of the screen. It shows the number of selected tasks and the actions available.

From the bar, you can:
- Bookmark all selected tasks
- Mark all as complete
- Set or change the assignee
- Set or change the due date
- Set or change the priority
- Set or change the tag
- Delete all selected tasks
- Click the More (
...) button for additional actions
Drag to a new column
On Board view and Weekly Planner, you can drag all your selected tasks to a new column at once. Click and drag any of the selected tasks, and the rest will follow.

Exit bulk editing
There are two ways to exit:
- Press Esc on your keyboard.
- Click the X button on the bulk action bar at the bottom of the screen.
