Can a task be visible to the entire workspace?

No. In Upbase, a task is visible only to members of the project it belongs to. Tasks can’t be shared with the entire workspace by default.

What to do instead

If you want a task to be visible to everyone:

  1. Create a project.
  2. Add all workspace members to that project.
  3. Create the task inside that project.

All members in the project will then be able to see and work on the task.

Good to know

  • Tasks with a due date in that project will appear in the Schedule / Calendar view
  • Those tasks will be visible to everyone who’s part of the project
